Mission Statement

Our Catholic tradition is to provide students with academic excellence, service, and spiritual growth of all its members in a safe environment that will prepare them for the future.
Our Beliefs
All members of the St. Angela Merici School community recognize and accept the firm union with the Roman Catholic Church and with the Archdiocese of New York. Founded in 1904 by the Sisters of the Order of Saint Ursula, the school's character and purpose are and always have been shaped by the Gospel message, that God is compassion and love, that the world is created by and sustained by God, and that human beings realize their truest selves in this light.
Individual constituents recognize that they are subject to the policies and procedures stated in our handbook. Employees, families, and all who voluntarily seek association with our school accept their responsibility to fulfill to the best of their abilities, their obligations to the children, to themselves, to the school community, and to God.
